Ginger Island Guide
Ginger Island is the endgame area introduced in version 1.5. It features year-round summer growing, the Volcano Dungeon, the weapon Forge, and 130 Golden Walnuts to find. Access requires completing the Community Center and repairing Willy's boat.
Getting to Ginger Island
- Complete the Community Center (or Joja equivalent)
- Visit Willy's shop - he reveals a back room with a broken boat
- Repair the boat: 200 Hardwood + 5 Iridium Bars + 5 Battery Packs
- Boat departs daily at Willy's shop; free travel once repaired
- Island has permanent Summer weather - crops never die here
Golden Walnuts
Overview (130 Total)
- Golden Walnuts are the currency for unlocking island features
- Found by: digging, fishing, harvesting crops, solving puzzles, combat
- Leo's parrot gives hints for remaining walnut locations
- Key Unlocks:
- 10 Walnuts - Farm Area (grow crops year-round)
- 10 Walnuts - Parrot Express (fast travel around island)
- 20 Walnuts - Resort (villagers visit the island)
- 20 Walnuts - Trader unlocks (Island Trader inventory)
- 100 Walnuts - Mr. Qi's Walnut Room (endgame challenges)
Volcano Dungeon
Volcano Overview
- 10 floors of increasingly difficult combat and puzzles
- Monsters: Lava Lurks, Hot Heads, Tiger Slimes, Magma Sprites, Magma Sparkers, False Magma Caps
- Contains Cinder Shard nodes (used for crafting and the Forge)
- Treasure chests on each floor have unique loot
- Floor 5 has a shortcut unlock (pour water on lava with watering can)
- Floor 10 has the Forge
- Dragon Teeth drop from Lava Lurks (needed for crafting)
